Orders
After you place an order you will be sent a confirmation e-mail within 24-48 hours.
Receipt of an order or an order confirmation email does not constitute an acceptance of an order.  Furniturestore-ny.com reserves the right, without prior notification, to refuse service to any customer, cancel the order or limit the order quantity on any item. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.

Shipping
All products are usually in stock and normally will be shipped out of the warehouse from 4 to 7 business days.  For your convenience all of our products come with Free Shipping.  Your item will be delivered to your home or place of business by FedEx or common carrier.  Free Shipping with White Glove Delivery is also provided to our customers.  This is a Platinum service which also comes free of charge on most of our heavy furniture items and includes inside room of choice placement.  Our delivery specialists will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Please note that shipping times are only an estimate and not guarantied.  Delays in production and/or shipping can not be a reason to cancel or charge back the order.  We work with different shipping and furniture delivery companies to deliver your product.  Highly professional staff  will be performing your delivery.  Accidents do happen and it is possible that something gets accidentally scratched or broken during your delivery do to tight spaces for the furniture being delivered.  We or the company performing your delivery are  not to keep responsible for such incidents , the delivery staff will do everything to avoid it, however, we encourage you to clear the hallways, pictures, paintings, lamps, remove doors if the entrance is tight and if it's necessary or anything on the way if you know you are about to receive a large furniture delivery.

If you received a furniture item by FedEx or common carrier and your signature is not required on the delivery you are responsible to making sure that some one is home at the location to receive the product.  If the product is left at your location by the shipping company and you were unable to locate it or if you located your product but did not sign for it with the shipping company, you agree not to dispute the charge for the products that were shipped out to you by Furniturestore-ny.com.  If you are unable to locate the product which does not require signature on the delivery and no one was at the location to receive it you will have to file a claim directly with the shipping company.  It is strongly suggested to order furniture products to the location with someone there to receive it.  You can also track your product by using the tracking numbers that we can provide upon your request, to estimate the time of the product arrival.

Special Orders
There are some products on the website that are a "special order".  Special orders are available to ship out in 9-12 weeks just like it stays on that product.  Please note that our manufacturers may discontinue or make the product a "special order" without prior notice.  This is very unlikely since we always work closely with our manufacturers but it may happen.  We work with many different brands and types of furniture products.

Returns/Damages
All products come in high quality packing that protects an item from damaging and normally come in perfect condition.  Even so, you must inspect all the items upon delivery. No exceptions. If an item is damaged or the box shows any signs of damage on the outside it must be documented at the time of delivery. You should refuse such a delivery and write “Damaged” on the receipt. Delivery driver must wait while you inspect the items. If the driver does not agree to wait, write it down on the delivery bill. If damage occurs, notify us the same or next business day so we can process the claim with the shipping company and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.  There has been less then 2% damages.  You may also be asked to present pictures of a damaged item. If we will not be informed of damage on time, we would not be able to assist you with later claim.

Cancellations/Refunds
All sales are final, purchases are non transferable or refundable. Your order may be canceled for a full money refund before it is processed. Please note that once the order is processed, a chain of events takes place and we may not be able to stop/cancel an order or complete a refund.  Our main goal is to provide our customers with the best prices, quality and service.

Pictures
Furniturestore-ny.com works really hard to provide our customers with best possible pictures of the products. Some color variations may occur between the picture that you see on your monitor and the live item. Color representations on computer screens can be based on different settings and various display configurations. You agree that you can not dispute the color or texture.

Assembly
Most of the products require some assembly and include easy instructions. If you need more detailed info please contact us.

Protection Plan
This is an Elite 5 year certified furniture protection plan provided by our business partner, the largest furniture protection company in the country. Protection plan can be purchased with any item for $99. If you would like to add this plan to your order, simply contact us before your product leaves the warehouse. You will receive your furniture protection plan certificate with service contract in a mail. Most of our large items include FREE Elite 5 year certified furniture protection plan.
